Glint Westwood - a photo on Flickriver

Glint Westwood

            Another early effort from late 2010 and another confession, I was at Bunns lane to record the day's 7C77 Acton to Merehead working head-on (as you do) and was not after anything funky but just crossed the road to record the going-away shot (as you sometimes do), this was the pleasing result, straight off the card (well alright, I straightened it a bit as always - maybe one of my legs is longer than the other?).

DB's EWS "Beastie" liveried 59205, carrying the name Keith L McNair, leads 59004 Paul A Hammond west into the setting sun, nearly back at base with empties for the Mendip Rail (remember them?) operation.

I was considering launching in to a range of Clint Eastwood film based puns at this point but as such things are usually met with a crushing wall of indifference I will simply recall that back in 2010 west London's little night-time miscreants were less inclined to "Paint Your Wagon" than is the case nowadays.
