zhangjiajie National Park - Hunan - China

            James Cameron never made this explicit, but that's only a detail for chinese tourism offices : Zhangjiajie National Park is the crazy place that inspired Pandora in the Avatar movie.

And we can't deny the similitude : when the mist covers the bottom of these match-shaped mountains, it looks like the summit is floating in the air ... So even if it's "only" on our good old earth planet, it's still one of the most stunning scenery it has to offer ...

Here is a second sight ... it's takes quite a long time to sort and process these pictures ...

24.11.16 : This picture get quite a lot of attention when it comes on the top of earthporn page on Reddit. However, I have to admit that I went a little bit fast on processing and I let a huge halo mistake. The fact that I get some attention made very difficult for me to watch this image without noticing ONLY this flaw. So I corrected it now ...
