Great Langdale and Mickleden - a photo on Flickriver

            This was my second time up Side Pike yesterday, the first early morning hoping for some nice light and shadows but the cloud that lingered all day had other ideas.

I went to visit Andy, the swan guy at Ullswater after and we put the world to rights or should I say, he put the world to rights whilst I listened to his gentle Cumbrian lilt, picking up a supercharged coffee from a pop up shop in Glenridding on the way.

Then back to Blea Tarn and up Lingmoor Fell before coming back up Side Pike around sunset as the clouds teased me. There was some nice clear sky off to my right but it never made it to me. 

Thoroughly enjoyable day.
