Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum - a photo on Flickriver

            Last offering from a great day in the Lake District.

Over 29/30 and 31 July 2022 Threlkeld held their annual gala with two visiting locos joing resident SirTom. Both visitors were back in a quarry setting for the first time in nearly 60 years after moving to live in the USA in 1965 and since repatraited to the UK. Here 2067 'Machlyn' climbs into the quarry with a goods during a 30742 Charter on 29 July 2022.
