2014 State of Origin...

            NSW Wins!!

Here's a shot I captured at the moment NSW won the 2014 State of Origin Rugby League series for the first time in 8 years. The player being mobbed is Jarred Hayne a superstar of the game who in 2015 left the NRL and was signed to play for the San Francisco 49ers a remarkable feat considering he had never played American football. He played a few games but in the end it didn't work out for him and he returned towards the end of the 2016 NRL season to sign with the Gold Coast Titans.  Lots of Blue - blue wigs, blue jersey's and blue body paint. Of course the team are nicknamed "The Blues".
