Doncaster IEP Depot, Track Entrance Nearing Completion.

                                           The Wires are now up at the entrance of the new HItachi Inter City Express Programme depot at Doncaster.

The track is nearing completion and the Overhead Supports are in place with some wiring already fitted. 

The plans fro the depot have seen 2 major changes since the original planning application which have included buildings and facilities dropped, then the size of the depot reduced and then the plans changed again to re-include some features plus a spur to the depot from the South as well as this spur at the North in the photo.

The total cost is in the region of £70 million.
