Yashima Yashicaflex A-II restoration project... the beginning... day 1

What a nasty looking camera this was! Six decades of dirt, grime, soot and moisture took its toll on this once proud TLR. But as nasty as it was, the focus was spot on, the shutter fired, the aperture blades were snappy and clean and I saw only a few traces of mold or fungus in the viewing and taking lenses. The reflex mirror had spider webs and fingerprints on it so that's useless. So a "user" camera it was! Follow its transformation from disaster to art in my blog at www.yashicasailorboy.com
