Cumbrian Coastliner (1 of 2) - a photo on Flickriver

            On the 31st of July 1993, Hertfordshire Railtours ran the “Cumbrian Coastliner” from Euston to the Carlisle area, outwards via the Cumbrian Coast and returning via the S & C. It was the first time a train of loco hauled stock had run the entire length of the Cumbrian Coast line following easing of restrictions between Maryport and Carlisle which had previously prevented this happening.
37358 + 37381 are seen here as they pass Millom in weak sun on the outward leg.
