Wörlitzer Park: Küchen- und Wirtschaftgsgebäude des Schlosses, jetzt Restaurant - Wörlitz Park: Kitchen and service building of the palace, now a restaurant

            Der Park wurde von 1769 bis 1773  unter der Regentschaft von Fürst Leopold III. Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau (1740–1817) am Wörlitzer See, einem Seitenarm der Elbe, angelegt und bis 1813 erweitert.. Er erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 112,5 Hektar und grenzt unmittelbar an die Stadt Wörlitz. Er gilt als einer der ersten und zählt zu den größten deutschen Landschaftsparks nach englischem Vorbild. Gleichzeitig hatte der Park einen Bildungsauftrag, der sich über Architektur, Gartenkunst und auch Ackerbau erstreckte. 
So war der Park auch zur damaligen Zeit mit allen Gebäuden und dem Schloss für jeden zu besichtigen. Das Schloss ist der erste klassizistische Schlossbau Deutschlands. Den Garten entwarf der Hofgärtner Johann Friedrich Eyserbeck, an den Bauten im Park war maßgeblich Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff (1736–1800), der auch das Schloss entworfen hatte, als Architekt beteiligt.

The park was established from 1769 to 1773 under the regency of Prince Leopold III Friedrich Franz of Anhalt-Dessau (1740-1817) on the banks of Lake Wörlitz, a branch of the Elbe, and extended until 1813. It covers an area of 112.5 hectares and borders directly on the town of Wörlitz. It is considered one of the first and largest German landscape parks in the English style. At the same time, the park had an educational mission, which covered architecture, garden art and agriculture. 
Thus the park was also open to the public at that time with all its buildings and the castle. The palace is the first neo-Classical palace in Germany. The garden was designed by the court gardener Johann Friedrich Eyserbeck; Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff (1736-1800), who had also designed the castle, played a decisive role as architect of the buildings in the park.
