Common Ringed Plover (Charadrius hiaticula) - Delta, BC

            This is a digiscoped cell shot but it was a moment I wanted to treasure because it was a self found bird. My friends and I found a Common Ringed Plover at Beach Grove Lagoon in Delta tonight. It was a lifer making it all the more cool and the second record for BC. Too bad I didn’t have my camera on me but thank goodness for scopes and cell phones and that my friend Sharon Toochin had her camera! This was BC Bird 429 for me as well.
