This is a local shot that I've never bothered with for the past 30 years because the trees have grown. One could see for miles here, right up to Beighton viaducts on the Retford line.

 It had been raining since the train went North in the morning, but it stopped about a hour before this was due. I went here because it's near and only 50 yards walk. It was very dull so the trees didn't matter.

Low and behold as I heard the train coming, the sun popped out through a small hole in the clouds, then went back in after the train had passed.

There was just a small gap in the trees to let the sunshine through.

So what I expected to be a binner, turned out to be far far better than I ever thought possible here.
