Iconic Liverpool. The sun catches the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board Building (with the dome) just nicely for this shot, to give some depth to the illumination. To the left of the dome, the diminutive Cunard Building stands in its shadow, and the Liver Birds on the Royal Liver Building, still awaiting the return of some of their clock hands, survey the scene with impunity. Snowdrop is still carrying the dazzle colours. I wonder if there are plans to have her repainted? N.B. Snowdrop had her dazzle colours retouched, and now in April 2019 is resplendent again, the rust having been removed.
