            Thistle seed head.

Only the height has been cropped; width is as original image.

Taken at different apertures.
I like to use larger to throw background out , as  I like that effect but sometimes I find 'd of f' not enough, so I am still learning !

More or less as taken to differentiate between aperture settings, that is, clarity, texture not adjusted.

All handheld., no image stabilisation etc.
Taken on short walk from home.
