SUPERSTAR SHELF For Elaine! - a photo on Flickriver

            Here’s what my ‘Superstar’ era shelf currently looks like, just for Elaine, so she could see that green and silver striped lurex fabric that is very similar to her Fashion Originals outfit from 1975. This glittery outfit that you can see in the closeup on Superstar Christie is a Get Ups ‘N Go from 1978, titled ‘Silvery Spark for After Dark.’ Also note that  Pretty Changes Barbie has joined the shelf in her original outfit, so has European Western Barbie in that glamorous black and white ‘Fashion Collectibles’  evening gown  from 1980, and there’s another Superstar Barbie in the background wearing the black, glittery 1976/77 Superstar fashion ‘Dramatic Black & Silver Shimmer’ to join the 1978 Superstar fashion with the blue furry jacket and slivery jumpsuit that my promotional Superstar Barbie is wearing out front, ‘Dramatic Blue & Silver Aglitter!’ Other gals that were already on that shelf include Fashion Photo P.J. in Fashion Favourites ‘Disco Dazzle’ from 1979, while her ‘twin’ is in her original outfit, along with Fashion Photo Barbie. Beauty Secrets Christie is in the background in Designer Originals ‘Paint the Town Red’ from 1980. (The backdrop is the Sears Exclusive 'Superstar Barbie Photo Studio' from 1977.)
