            Población de la província de Teruel que pertenece a la comarca del Matarranya. Tiene un poblado íbero, con el paso de los tiempos fue ocupada por los árabes (de donde procede el nombre), reconquistada por la Orden de Calatrava y con la desamortización de Mendizábal quedó llibre, destruida más tarde por las tropas de Felipe V y reconstruida en el siglo XVIII en un momento de esplendor económico.

Population of the province of Teruel that belongs to the region of Matarranya.  It has an Iberian settlement, with the passage of time it was occupied by the Arabs (from which the name comes), reconquered by the Order of Calatrava and with the confiscation of Mendizábal it remained free, later destroyed by the troops of Felipe V and rebuilt in the eighteenth century at a time of economic splendor.
