Least Terns - a photo on Flickriver

Least Terns

            You see this and say no way the chick can eat this. With a blink of an eye, the little one swallowed it's breakfast. They have one ferocious apatite. Once this one was down, the adults were off to get another one. No idea were the little guys put it all.
Taken at Manasquan Inlet, NJ. They have set up a nice little breeding area for the terns, skimmers and oystercatchers. It is roped off, but you still can get extremely close to the action. 
We had an great day there.
