The Cairns birdwing is the largest butterfly in Australia and has a wingspan of up to 18 cm. It is endemic to the rainforests of northeastern Queensland. The male has black, green and yellow wings, while the female has black and white wings with yellow spots.

Butterfly World is located in Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, Florida. It opened in 1988, and it is the largest butterfly park in the world and the first park of its kind in the Western Hemisphere. The facility houses around 20,000 live butterflies.
