Baaaart Deco

This is one of the scupltures in a "Wild In Art" trail based on the Aardman animated characters "Shaun The Sheep".

Various organisations / artists decorate standard sculptures on a theme of their choice.

BAAAART DECO
The inspiration for BaaaArt Deco comes from
the artists love of the sleek geometric shapes
and stylized forms of the Art Deco period from
the 1920s and ‘30s. For this design, Mik tried to
emulate some of the famous Art Deco buildings
such as the Chrysler Building in New York City.

Mik is a Norfolk based artist who has been involved
in over 50 Wild in Art trails and has painted over
100 sculptures. He loves being involved in the trails
and finds nothing quite as enjoyable coming up with
a new design for a sculpture.
