Droppin Bills at Kentland - a photo on Flickriver

            Santa Fe combo train (freight & intermodal) comes through Kentland, Indiana eastbound with ATSF 2843-2892-2318, 84 cars, and caboose #999571.  This train was a rare one, as it was the only mix of intermodal and freight that I remember seeing.  It also had stone cars for the quarry outside town.  The conductor is on the east end of the cab, ready to through off waybills at the diamond.  Photo was taken April 19th, 1986 and is looking W/N/W with US 24 running parallel on the other side of the tracks.  Conductor is leaving the bills for the 2 cars they set out for the Milwaukee Road to grab.  They were to go northbound.
