Archie 27 - Comfort - a photo on Flickriver

What drew me to this shot - as with most really - was his face and in particular his incredibly expressive eyes.

I was very fortunate with my timing with Archie being in the right position and the sunlight light falling into the room just so.

I adore black & white photography and whilst many photos of Archie call for colour to accentuate his golden ginger & white fur and his eyes, this particular photograph was always going to be black & white. 

This may be one of my favourite photos that I have taken.  Whether or not it is one of my best, I cannot say but it is a personal favourite.
