In the heat of the action - a photo on Flickriver

            It not often happens that my first shot of a bird ( I never saw a red kite before) is not a mess, blurry, unsharp, partly out of the focusing field etc.

But this red kite came out of the blue, and I saw it just in time to point in the right direction. 
I took this shot on the first day that I was in Scandinavia in the south of Sweden. 

I visited a small nature area -Fulltofta naturreservat-  and I was lucky to see many interesting bird species like the wild swan (not very common in the netherlands), nestling marsh harriers also quarelling with a raven and some others.
