The Mywatn area in the Central North is another stunning part of Iceland, where vulcanism can be seen (and smelled) everywhere. Boiling water, very warm surfaces, steaming vents, sulfur colored soils, and very many soil deposits where minerals are seeping through cracks!

i was a little bit depressed though this day because the weather was so dark, and we had a lot of rain and wind. Therefor I wasn't able to lift my drone to get pictures like these (www.akureyriguide.is/town/myvatn/), and next day it was even worse.

I might have to go back for another try probably!
