Toen hij de auto terug bracht naar Winton, vertelden ze hem dat als hij zo slim was dat hij zelf wel een auto kon bouwen.
* De Slogan: "Ask the man who owns one." of Vraag het aan hij die er één bezit werd voor het eerst gebruikt in Oktober 1901.
* De Packard Motors Company was gevestigd in Detroit (Michigan, VS).
