Kameruka

            Sydney ferry Kameruka (1913) photographed by Fred Saxon.
Seen here in the early 1960s, she has been modernised with a Crossley diesel, tapered funnel and a slathering of masonite. She ran till 1983, when her old, warped hull had almost had enough. She sank at her berth in 1986 and was chopped up in situ.
