GEC Z5760 - a photo on Flickriver

GEC Z5760

            One of very few GEC Z5760s to remain operational in Chilwell and possibly the only one to be tasked with lighting a road, rather than just a footpath, on 9.9.21

Here it has not long switched on and isn't casting much light onto the wall, while also looking like a SOX light (which is isn't) as the SON lamp warms up.

Very much 'classic' Chilwell in this scene featuring one of the connected house/flat type things, a very faded sign for the housing block name attached to one of the original fences, the street sign which is one of hundreds to a similar pattern around here and of course the street lamp which has been integrated into the wall with the control box (that has number 1 spray painted on) at the bottom... everything here is just so very 'right'.
