The photo was taken thru a 26mm Eyepiece on the Meade 8” (Henderson) SCT, fitted with a Solar filter I made out of Thousand Oaks Solar Filter Film.
Telescope EQ Mounted. I used my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Smartphone to image the sun thru the eyepiece.
