Hall I - a photo on Flickriver

Hall I

            The Rudolfsheim depot of the Vienna Tramway dates back to the 19th century. Hall I is a listed building. Immediately noticeable is the raised central section with two likewise higher entrance gates. This conversion took place around 1913 to make room for double-deck streetcars, which were newly developed at the time. However, these did not prove successful, but the architectural feature was retained.
