Day 24/265 - a photo on Flickriver

Day 24/265

            It was nice to find the first snowdrop in the garden after Storm Eowyn.
The wind howled last night and this morning and we didn't get much sleep.
It brought down trees and power lines, lifted garden sheds and trampolines, damaged sports facilities and houses. Around 600,000 homes and businesses are still without power and many roads are blocked. 
A driver in Co Donegal was killed when a tree fell on his car.
We were lucky as our power was restored after a short length of time and there was no damage apart from a couple of branches blown down at the back of our house.
