101 088 "DEVK - Volle Tatkraft voraus!" Vierkirchen (19360n)

            Seit dem Fahrplanwechsel kommt auf dem München-Nürnberg-Express wieder eine Lok der Baureihe 101 von DB Fernverkehr zum Einsatz. Als Reserve für die chronisch unzuverlässigen Skoda-Doppelstock-Garnituren wird diese nun mit druckertüchtigten IC 1 Wagen verwendet. Es wird hierbei mit sechs zuvor in den Werken Neumünster und Wittenberge überholten Waggons gefahren, mit je einem Steuerwagen an der Spitze und am Ende. So ergibt sich wieder ein jahrelang vertrautes Bild auf der KBS 900. Am 31. Dezember 2024 gab es eine sehr interessante Wettersituation im Dachauer Hinterland. Am Vortag war es recht warm und feucht, in der Nacht frostig. Als Ergebnis war die Landschaft mit einer dicken Schicht Raureif überzogen. Bei der Durchfahrt der für die Versicherung DEVK werbende 101 088 mit dem RE 4019 hatte sich die Wolkendecke auch rechtzeitig gelichtet. 

Since the timetable change, a class 101 locomotive from DB Fernverkehr is once again being used on the Munich-Nuremberg Express. As a reserve for the chronically unreliable Skoda double-decker sets, it is now being operated with modernised IC 1 coaches. Six wagons previously overhauled in the Neumünster and Wittenberge factories are used, with one control car at the front and one at the rear. This results in a familiar picture on the KBS 900 for years. On 31 December 2024, there was a very interesting weather situation in the Dachau hinterland. The day before it was quite warm and humid, and then there was frost during the night. As a result, the landscape was covered in a thick layer of hoar frost. When 101 088 with RE 4019, advertising the DEVK insurance company, passed through, the clouds had cleared in time.
