EVB 223 032 "Schwaiger Holzindustrie" Treuchtlingen (8731n)

            In Deutschland eher selten, in Österreich gang und gäbe sind Doppeltraktionen mit den Lokbaureihen ER 20 und ES 64 U2. Das norddeutsche Unternehmen EVB setzt auf den Einsatz der besagten Maschinen und nutzt diese auch entsprechend. Am 30. Mai 2021 leißen sich die 223 032 und die 182 912 gemeinsam vor einem Holzzug nach Hengersberg beobachten. Ungewöhnlich war allerdings der Laufweg des Zuges. Statt wie regulär über Nürnberg ging es baustellenbedingt über das Altmühl- und das Donautal nach Niederbayern. Bei der Einfahrt Treuchtlingen wurde der Zug von zahlreichen Fotografen erwartet.   

In Germany, double traction with the ER 20 and ES 64 U2 locomotive series is rather rare, but in Austria it is commonplace. The northern German company EVB relies on the use of these machines and also operates them accordingly. On 30 May 2021, 223 032 and 182 912 were seen together in front of a timber train to Hengersberg. However, the route of the train was unusual. Instead of the regular route via Nuremberg, it went via the Altmühl and Danube valleys to Lower Bavaria due to construction works. At the entrance to Treuchtlingen, the train was awaited by numerous photographers.
