218 446 Aitrang (7482n) - a photo on Flickriver

            Auch nach Fahrplanwechsel kann die Baureihe 218 noch täglich auf der Allgäubahn beobachtet werden. Planmäßig pendelt eine Doppelstockwagen-Garnitur in Sandwichbespannung zwischen Oberstdorf und der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt. Allerdings werden werktags andere Leistungen bedient als am Wochenende. Am 10. Januar 2021 wurde das Schmuckstück des BW Kempten - die ozeanblau-beige 218 446 - vor dem RE 57588 nach Kempten führend eingesetzt, am Zugschluss half 218 414 tatkräftig mit. Bei Aitrang gelang eine Aufnahme bei frostigen Temperaturen. 

Even after the timetable change, the class 218 can still be seen daily on the Allgäubahn.
