ÖBB 2016.027 Sprögnitz (5658n)

            Sommer im Waldviertel: Der Kukuruz steht hoch, der Weizen wird bereits geerntet. Die Erdäpfeln haben noch Zeit bis zum Herbst. Der Mohn ist schon fast verblüht, die grünen Kapseln sind aber schon deutlich zu sehen und gehen ihrer Reife entgegen. Auch in der Ferienzeit gibt es Betrieb zwischen Waldhausen und Schwarzenau und es werden Holzprodukte aller Art transportiert. Am 10. August beförderte 2016.027 mit der VG 43145 den letzten Zug des Tages. Bei Sprögnitz schlängelt sich die Strecke durch weitläufige Felder, um dann in einem großen Waldgebiet zu verschwinden. Im Hintergrund erkennt man den Sendemasten bei Loschberg.

Summer in the Waldviertel: The corn stands high, the wheat is already harvested. The potatoes still have time until autumn. The poppy is almost withered, but the green capsules are already clearly visible and are approaching maturity. Also in the vacation season there is operation between Waldhausen and Schwarzenau and wood products of all kinds are transported. On August 10, 2016.027 carried the last train of the day. Near Sprögnitz, the line winds its way through extensive fields, before disappearing into a large forest area. In the background you can see the antenna tower near Loschberg.
