Ludwigia Octovalvis

It is popularly known as Camarambaia (in Brazil) or by the common name of Mexican willow-primrose.
Its native distribution is unclear, but can be found in Central America, Australia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, regions of Central Africa and West Africa and spread easily to naturalize. In Brazil is found in almost all states.
It is also cultivated as a water plant.
The species is sometimes considered an invasive species. It spreads to form treadmills in the mud, rooting in us in contact with the substrate, or floats rising into the water.
