            I am leaving home surroundings for quite a while now to start running through pictures from our extended summer trip catching up with family and friends from Washington State in the USA.

One of our first trips out was to see local soccer team Seattle Sounders take on LA Galaxy.  It seems an appropriate day to be starting this set for the Sounders won through to the MLS cup final yesterday after beating Colorado Rapids home and away in a 2 legged match to decide the Western Conference.

We arrived pretty early so that we could take in the atmosphere at the match and have a tour of the stadium beforehand.  We walked all the way around inside, something that would be impossible in a British stadium
