New Camera - Pentax ist DL2 Digital SLR

I've joined the digerati! The straw that finally broke my wallet was processing my Edinburgh photos at a cost of £26 (for two rolls). My previous 35mm Pentax SLR meant when I turned digital I had to go Pentax because of the lenses I already owned, namely a 12-24mm and 70-300mm.

When Pentax themselves went digital I watched longingly as first the 'ist D' arrived, then the 'ist DS', then the 'ist DL'. This is the 'prosumer' "ist DL2" (equivalent to a D50, versus the ist D which is a D70 competitor). This is a 6.1mp digital SLR I'm so stoked, I love it!

The camera is so intuitive, I've found pretty much all the functions without having to touch the manual. Moreover it'll mean I can take more nice SLR pics without having to worry about processing costs.

Now all I need to worry about is technique and photographic knowledge, I've got an okay 'eye'.

Edit: I've since replaced my 12-24mm with a new 10-20mm Sigma lens and sold the 70-300mm too!
