White Crack Sunset

            Sunset from White Crack camp looking across the White Rim in the foreground towards Canyon Rims Recreation area and the Manti La Sal Mountains.  

White Crack is one of the more isolated camps on the White Rims trail, and is named for a break in the namesake sandstone layer where an old road cuts down towards the Colorado River.  I can see where it could be habit forming....

Can you see... my tripod legs?  the shadow of an arch?
