"I will not shoot into yon sun without better reason... I will not go to 150mm unless I desire headlight flare... I..." Ah, but you get the idea... {hanging head in shame} lol I still had to tell on myself and share it, just the same (one of the last of the faux pas from this batch that I'll complain about, I promise... lol). Yes, it took a LOT of Rx, including the removal of most (no, not all... there's still evidence of reconstructive scarring... lol) of the headlight flare, a new sky layer that still had to be toned down to look acceptable with the lighting, and a bit of color work. Still doesn't look quite "right" but I have been guilty of fiddling too much on occasion... Proper lighting angles would have made all the difference in the world, especially considering how nice a day this was... Chalk one up for poor planning! ;-)

Thanks to Duane Rapp for passing along the link to a free desktop utility, as well: photoephemeris.com/ . I shall do the same and intend to make good use of this neat lil program for planning lighting angles (or even sun/moon alignments on any given day). Much obliged!
