Stilt Sandpiper? - a photo on Flickriver

Stilt Sandpiper?

            Stilt Sandpiper? 

After checking with some of my contacts and some research I am reasonably certain that the bird on the right is a Stilt Sandpiper in winter plumage. This was the only one I saw feeding on the mud flats at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, in a mixed flock of lesser and greater yellowlegs. I included the two yellowlegs in the photograph for size and color comparison.

Unfortunately they surprised me when they took off so I only got flight shots of the yellowlegs not the Sandpiper, as flight shots would have positively confirmed the identification.

Stilt Sandpipers are uncommon so this is lifer for me, but I would appreciate any further suggestions or confirmation on the identification.

PS A couple of my contacts have agreed that the ID of a Stilt Sandpiper is correct
