Tiny caterpillar on unopened flowers of Bigberry Manzanita

            Here is a tiny caterpillar on unopened flowers of Bigberry Manzanita (Arctostaphylos glauca, Ericaceae).  By the placement of its legs, I guess the caterpillar is a looper or inchworm caterpillar of a Geometrid Moth (family Geometridae, Lepidoptera).  It's got a couple of extra flaps on its tail end - to the left.  The blushing-pink flowers are still closed by a flap of skin at the bottom, but some insects can't wait for them to open - see my [Next] photo, on the right.
