(N. American Species # 604) Northern Fulmar From Iceland

This Northern Fulmar is a common pelagic seabird found mostly at open sea in the Northern Hemisphere....As opposed to the Southern Fulmar.

Though similar in appearance to gulls, fulmars are in fact closely related to petrels and shearwaters.
