Red-headed Barbet (Eubucco bourcierii)

My kids called this guy the 'Water-melon Bird' and it's not too hard to see why :). This Barbet was a bird I was really hoping to see on my return visit to Costa Rica, but I had no idea I would get such good looks at this stunning bird :).

Not many birds I come across seem to 'glow', but this was one (the Blackburnian Warbler and Emerald Tanager are the only 2 others that I've seen that come to mind).
