The fridge was acting up again. The drain was frozen over so whenever the defrost cycle kicked in, water was overflowing into the main compartment. After emptying the freezer compartment and chipping away the ice and flushing out the drain with hot water and a turkey baster, I installed this DIY solution to see if it will prevent a reoccurrence. You hook a 12 gauge copper wire to the heating element and hang it inside the drain. It will hopefully warm things up and keep it from getting plugged up.
