            People in Denver lovingly refer to the city's Wastewater Management Building as Gotham. I got a closer look at the building during Doors Open Denver this past weekend. The architectural style is truly odd: bulky and fortress-like. The WMD brochure says "influenced by iconic art-deco style architecture [of the 1930s]." I thought a b/w treatment would be suitable. The foreground shows the bridge over the Platte River. The artwork is "Bridge of Recycling Fountains," by Laura Audrey. This area is usually inaccessible to the public (thank you, Doors Open Denver).
