The Bugs Are Back In Town - a photo on Flickriver

            Well, ok, I think I am actually ready to let myself believe that Spring is here...the trees in the neighborhood and our backyard have green and red and orange shoots emerging from the branch tips, it rained for most of the day yesterday and the neighborhood grass has definite green spots, and I am seeing spiders and small flying insects in our front and back yard!

This irridescent little fly was nice enough to sit still for me on one of our flower pots on our back deck, which, as you can see, needs to be replanted for this year, as it just has the old dead plants from last year still in it.

I am about to take Beefy and Princess down to the river and see what sort of new life is hopefully emerging there!
