A few weeks ago while my brother was in town, we took a drive out to the wildlife refuge just north of Denver. I wanted to show him some of the amazing bison that roam around the refuge. Most times I have luck finding the bison, and other times I have been there, I haven't seen a single one. As we drove through the wildlife drive, we finally came across a big herd. We pulled over and enjoyed the show for a while. After watching them, we continued along the drive. We didn't see anymore bison, but we did find this deer. I grabbed my camera and as I did, he began scratching his head on this tree. We must have been 50 feet from him sitting in the car watching. It was pretty spectacular to see such a behavior.
