23/366: not even once 23/366: not even once
23/366: not even once

slogan of the Montana Meth project one of my six classes this semester is Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention. We were discussing effective strategies and my professor brought this site up. Meth is such a horrible drug. but very popular because it give you such a long high: from 6-20 hours. After the first time of using meth, your body needs more and more to get the same high. with this usage the dopamine receptors in your brain become damaged. the normal everyday highs you get from seeing someone you love after a time apart, lust, and general happy feelings no longer give you that good feeling. You can read about the program here montanameth.org/View_Ads/index.php these ads use saturation-level marketing and young adults from 12-17 see these messages 70-90% three times a week. if you take the time to look, they are rather disturbing but truthful and VERY REAL (not like "this is your brain on drugs") you can watch the ads here montanameth.org/View_Ads/index.php
