goldfinch (carduelis carduelis) - a photo on Flickriver

            although i find the goldfinch a lot harder to capture than blue tits/  nuthatches ect which you can attract with food and wait for them to appear so you can set your stall up and be prepared to photograph them,this doesnt happen so easily with the goldfinch, the slightest movement or noise and the goldfinch is gone,also the goldfinch is not very human tolerant compaired to some of our common birds ,not the best of light but i was quite pleased considering the overcast weather this one was taken in,.
