Close Hyperfocal Plant at Purisima Creek

            As an experiment with using hyperfocal distance focusing with a near target, I decided on using this small plant as  subject.

The focus range was .3 to .5 meters, just barely enough even with the f22 setting.  

Since I was using a tripod, I probably could have used the pixel shift feature of the Pentax K1 to get more resolution, maybe enough to counteract the diffraction softness.
