Mary Celeste - a photo on Flickriver

Mary Celeste

This is the Mary Celeste which was run aground recently on our very own Eastbourne beach and even made the news.
The skipper of the boat was taken into custody for mental evaluation and the boat was cordoned off and searched.
After a few Flickrers posted some pictures of the boat I decided to head down myself and grab a few pictures before they took the Celeste away.
This was taken from the promenade as you wasn't allowed on the beach around the boat, this was a shame as I really wanted to get a much lower viewpoint.
The police monitored the boat to make sure no naughty people (togs) lol tried to get on the beach.
The tide was coming in and I really wanted to grab a shot with the water surrounding the boat but it started raining so headed off to keep dry.
