This Stick Is Mine (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            Forced myself to get out with my camera and look for some creepy crawlies to photograph.
I headed along the 1066 walk just past Pevensey castle with my camera and sigma 105mm macro attached.
Now normally I have 6 rolled up newspapers at hand to keep the bugs away as they seem to like me lol but today there wasn't many at all.
I saw a black and white bee which was strange, a jumping spider who jumped away too quickly a ladybird who ran off and a hoverfly who hovered off somewhere away from my lens, but there was loads of damselflies, yeeeeeeey :)
I got a few pictures of these very small and flitish creatures and some who where mating.
Most where in focus but with crap and busy backdrops but I liked this one with a nice golden background, I would have loved to get parallel and get the whole damselfly in focus but he flew off when I grabbed this one.
Anyway hope you like this as I'm pleased to get it especially as I was wearing shorts and kept getting stung by nettles hidden in the grass lol.
